We are actively recruiting new volunteers for positions at the House and our new Family Room. We depend on our volunteers for so much. They are the backbone of the House and provide assistance in almost every facet of the organization. Volunteers must have a willingness to help and be 18 years or older. A criminal background check and child abuse registry check are required.

Our Board of Directors is comprised of people with a variety of backgrounds who share a commitment to the Winnipeg Ronald McDonald House. Traditionally, we recruit people to one of our five standing committees. Once they have served on a committee, learned about the House, and shown a keen interest, they are recruited to the Board. The Board meets eight times each year from September to June.
